we seek art
Background is gouache.
Text reads:
we seek art
pen a delight in orange
Must find a way to isolate the text more thoroughly or learn to paint up to and not over the lines :).
I believe that others use some sort of masking fluid/pen, will find out. Tried regular masking fluid in another book and it took the print off - so not a lot of use.

stories - the refuge
I have just started my altered-text project and this is the first page completed in my book. As it says up top the title of the book is Making It up, which is, in fact, the actual unaltered title of the original novel. I am keeping it as that for the time-being as I like it very much - it fits in with what I am doing after all!
The background is worked totally in gouache.
The text reads:
stories - the refuge
satisfying wisdoms
internal narrative
gods and goddesses
the mythology of imagined alternatives
the whole climactic life
spun off in arbitrary absolute.
I just love those words!
